I bought this snail-trail as a private joke after seeing several videos of Russian girls who keep giant snails as pets. The liquid is presented in a cylindrical, clear container with a pump dispenser that gives one drop at a time. It is slimy stuff - how could it be otherwise? - clear, odourless and cool on the skin. It feels surprisingly pleasant to use, fresh and calming, and it is quickly absorbed. It is very economical in use. After the morning cleanse and tone, I pump one drop into my hand and apply it as instructed with gentle fingertip patting. That one drop is enough to treat my whole face. It is advised to avoid the lips and eye area. Following the slime (I'm not being derogatory, I don't know what else to call it) I apply moisturiser as usual. I find I use less moisturiser than before. My skin feels happy and clean. Unsolicited, my dear partner remarked how my skin looks younger and more alive. He added it looks fresh and new, like a paving slab after the rain. What more can a girl ask?

I bought this on offer, as I’d fancied trying it for a while. I’m 41 with combination skin which can look a bit dull especially in winter. I also wanted to deep moisturise my skin to ward off fine lines. I can honestly say I’m impressed with this serum. It’s not too sticky, two small pumps covers my face and neck, and after a few moments I follow with the matching moisturiser, morning and night after cleansing / straight out of the shower. My skin has felt hydrated, smooth and I look brighter and less tired. I feel more confident going make up free which benefits my skin even more. I have noticed my under eye circles have reduced too. Of all the products I’ve used previously this is by far my favourite and I’ll be sticking with it, adding an SPF too. I would recommend you try it :)
